Our Forever Foster Program offers an alternative option for horses who may not be suited for traditional adoption due to age, medical needs, or ongoing care requirements. Through this program, horses are placed in long-term foster homes where they can enjoy individualized attention, stability, and the comfort of a loving environment, while remaining under the care and guidance of our rescue.
Forever Foster homes agree to provide a safe, caring, and supportive place for these special horses, with the understanding that the horse will be returned to THR if circumstances ever change. Medical or age-related needs are disclosed upfront so fosters can be matched with a horse that fits their abilities and lifestyle. This partnership allows horses to thrive in a home setting without the pressure of ownership.
